The opening presentation will provide the audience with an overview of the current trends in the digital, networked and globalised economy that we happen to live and act in, with a special attention paid to the roles, chances and challenges that small and medium enterprises have to cope with in order to stay competitive. It will build on examples of success stories from the past and provide hints how to get involved in the cross-sector and trans-border collaborative projects.The speaker, apart from being a partner in ITTI (a Polish consultancy firm with significant experience in European RTD and a SME itself), is also a chairman of the AMI@Work Family of Communities (a network of more than 2000 experts in e-work, e-business and innovation from Europe and beyond), and of the Polish Association for Regional Development and Entrepreneurship).
